Comfortable bed, Quiet, relaxing, pleasant decor, Tasty full english breakfast, Large shower, Breakfast in the conservatory.
i used the hotel as it was close to twickenham stadium. 2 stop on the train from feltham to twickers train station at the end of the road 200mts.
got what i paid for
excellent hotel good food genial host good location will be going back
The staff were very friendly and the owner very personable, the room was very comfortable and the entire place had a pleasant and individual style to it often missing from other hotels. The en-suite bathroom was well appointed and clean, and the breakfast was excellent. It also has a very nice, private garden.
There was a radio-alarm clock in my room that wasn't plugged in and had no instructions for how to use it if you did. There was also another clock but this had no battery in it. If they just hadn't been there this wouldn't have been an issue, but having a clock that doesn't work is utterly pointless!
The room we had was lovely. The host was very amiable. He has a ways to go in "finishing" his B&B project. The website says there is a garden which is one of the reasons we chose it. The garden has potentail but is in shambles.
Liked the free WIFi, comfortable bed etc and the fact they phoned to confirm the booking and check my time of arrival. Was only there from 11pm to 5.30am so difficult to comment much.
Did not like the fact that no solution to breakfast at 6am was available, and that the bus to Heathrow took much longer than I expected, say 25 mins. Would have been nice to be given exact instructions on which bus stop to use as I inadvertently waited on the wrong side of the road initially.
Resonable rate with full english breakfast included and good location in Feltham. The Ambassador Heathrow Hotel is an 18th Century three story house converted to a hotel so has features of both a bed and breakfast and hotel. The owner and staff were freindly, personable and accomodating. It is a block from the railroad station with freqent service to central London (Waterloo Station) through Richmond Station where you can change to the london tube for different routes to or through central London. Shops, pubs and restaurants are a couple blocks away. Rooms are named not numbered and each are unique in size and facilities. My wife and I had a double bed with a three piece bathroom in "Fox's Overlook"? (2nd Floor at back). Both the bedroom and bathroom were small but well furnished and very clean. The hotel has a bright glass-enclosed solarium to partake the full English breakfast but a smaller version or continental breakfast including fresh fruit, cereal and toast is available. Orange and grapefruit juice and tea or coffee are available. Such a hearty breakfast, although a little greasy, is seldom available in bed and breakfasts or included in Hotel rates. Another plus is that it has a couple of separate outdoor sitting areas where we played cards and visited with relatives that live in Hanslow/Feltham. (in addition to a common indoor one that is shared as the hotel reception (office).
If sole purpose is to sightsee in central london I would look for accomodation there and save travel time.
Staff were friendly. Garden looked nice. Four poster was nice. Wifi worked well.
No fridge, no desk table, no bath, no dinner or room service... So rate is relatively high. Bed quilt didn't look clean
We arrived obscenely early and were made very welcome despite the hotel staff serving breakfast! Our room was made ready and we were extremely grateful. The location was perfect for rail links into London and for our trip to Twickenham for a rugby match. The owner and staff were courteous, attentive and helpful. The room was delightful with fabulous cotton sheets and a view of the sunny rear garden! I must mention the coffee!!! It was divine!!!
Untidy reception\seating area...bit of effort to enhance this area required as first impression was not great.
Location is great, staff is very friendly, hotel is more intimate and quiet than a large property
The room was lovely and the staff friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was good and was plentiful.
The bathroom was cold and could do with a heater.
Location was good, very close to train station. Breakfast was excellent and the lounge was very cosy.
Having to park on main road (max of 4 cars at front of hotel car park).
Free WiFi was very easy to access and very fast.
Room was not that clean and parking was very limited.
Easy to get to, friendly helpful proprietor - Dean, parking on the drive, lovely room (but I had the honeymoon suite!), good breakfast
the breakfast was excellent. rooms clean and tidy. very close to railway and easy to find.
